February 10: Spook: Science Tackles the Afterlife by Mary Roach
March: With a spirituality book club member who lived in Samoa, we wanted to learn more about Samoan Spirituality, so we read The Sacred Power of Huna: Spirituality and Shamanism in Hawaii by Rima A. Morrell
April: National Poetry month, we read a number of poets including:
Mary Oliver's book Thirst; The Essential Rumi by Rumi, translated by Coleman Barks, and Rilke's Book of Hours: Love Poems to God (for starters) and we had a poetry reading as well
May : The Dance of the Dissident Daughter by Sue Monk Kidd
June: We are looking at three books The Kite Runner; A Thousand Splendid Suns, and The Three Cups of Tea
July: When Things Fall Apart by Pema Chodrin
