A SEARCH IN SECRET INDIA
Paul Brunton

Review by Vijay.
Reviewer's Rating:

Paul Brunton was a British journalist who took up on himself the task of journeying India,in early 20th century,in search of a "true" yogi!!This book, originally published in 1934, is the chronicle of his experiences and encounters with several indian saints.Though Brunton's initial interest was with holy men doing miracles, he soon got attracted to the deepest metaphysical aspects of yoga and mysticism. His Indian journey culminates in his meeting with Saint Ramana,a great South Indian saint of that time.
