Blue Like Jazz
Donald Miller

Review by Sue@spiritualbookclub.com.
Reviewer's Rating:

I do not find Donald Miller's writing to be worth reading for very long stretches. He is okay for a secular audience, wanting to take a peek into Christianity, but he seems to use his writing for his own catharsis and has trouble sustaining metaphors, etc. His writing is not as strong as it will one day be, this reads a bit like reading someone's unedited journal, but, given Miller's seeming popularity, he does seem to have an audience in those who are just beginning a Christian journey.
